last updated Thu, 16 Apr 2020 22:55:17 GMT

Description

According to the factory, this instrument was originally delivered to Carl Fisher in New York. The bassoon was built to A 437.5. The instrument has a strange anamoly; the stamped manufacturer's mark is 5. (a 5 followed by a period). All of the keywork has VI scribed on them. This appears to be a case of the instument being originally marked as 5 and then re-numbered to 6.
