There is disagreement about whether or not this is the original serial number. There are a number of features on this instrument which had not been in normal production for a Heckel bassoon since the 6200 series. This does not in any way mean the bassoon is a fake of any kind; it is simply noted that this bassoon has features which do not resemble a normal 7000-series Heckel.
